~ Frienship Icicle Poems ~

Take this little icicle
and hang it on your tree
and when you look at it
there's things I hope you'll see.
It looks like other icicles
all shaped in the same way
but if you look more closely
differences come into play.
So it is with God's children
contrasts make us unique
but underneath we're all the same
God's love is what we seek.
So like a little icicle
let prejudices thaw and melt
revealing your heart centre
where truth and love are felt.

An icicle is beautiful
but cold to the touch
whereas friendship melts hearts
and can mean so much.
So remember to look deep
for the beauty that's within
the spark of a friendship
and the wonder it can bring.

The beauty of an icicle
reflects the glory that you see
when friends grow together
friends like you and me.
We shine and sparkle
we have a special glow
friendship warms our hearts
wherever we may go.

A pretty icicle
a reminder for you
that friendship is special
with loyalty and trust too.

Some friends know us better
than we even know ourself
they help us grow and flourish
they build up our self worth.

So hang this little icicle
as a reminder from me
that our friendship is priceless
the best things really are free.

An icicle hanging high
Is one of nature's true delights
Drying layer upon layer
Of frozen water turned to ice

The wonders of nature
can make your heart sing
like a simple little icicle
such a beautiful thing.

Hang this purple icicle
High upon your tree
Everyone who sees it
Will know you're a Red Hat Lady

Style and flair
will grace your tree
With this icicle
For a Red Hat Lady

Friendship
Here's the Heart of a Friend

The beauty of an icicle,
is so like the heart of a friend.
We behold it with awe,
our amazement never ends.

The icicle is so special,
just like you are to me,
It is everlasting,
It will never melt you see.

So like our friendship,
it will endure both good and bad,
It will glisten in our laughter,
And shine when we are sad.

It will not melt away,
so hang it on your tree,
As a holiday reminder of what
your friendship means to me.

Red Hat

The beauty of an icicle,
is like a Red Hatter's heart
We behold it with wonder,
an age where fun can start.

So wear your red hat proudly
through times happy or bad
always glisten with laughter
And shine when you are sad.

This icicle won't melt
it's for your Christmas tree,
a reminder to a Red Hatter
you are whatever you want to be.

AND ONE FOR A GOLDEN FRIENDSHIP:

A golden icicle
a reminder for you
that friendship is golden
with loyalty and trust too.

Old friends know us better
than we even know ourself
they help us grow and flourish
they build up our self worth.

So hang this gold icicle
as a reminder for all to see
that our friendship is golden
and you mean the world to me.

Blue Icicles

Christmas time's supposed to be jolly
But this year, without you
I've going to miss your laughter
And that makes me feel blue
So these icicles will remind me
Of the one I loved so dear
And will bring back happy memories
Throughout the coming year

Blue icicles to remind me
Of a loved one I once knew
Blue to represent the tears I've shed
Crying over losing you

Twinkling as they spin around
Bringing memories back clear
Of all the happy times we shared
When you, that loved one, was right here

Icicle Tear

This year for Christmas
I'll hang on my tree
An icicle tear
and reminder to me
That losing a loved one
Though painful at best
Doesn't mean memories
Or joy have to rest
I've too many feelings
And things I recall
Of happier moments
and savor them all
So each time I pass
By my tree and I spy
This icicle tear
I vow not to cry
For I want to honor
All of the years
I had with my loved one
With joy and not tears.

Blue Icicle

I found something special
I want to share with you
to help you through the Holidays
when you might be feeling blue

It's hard to lose someone we love
Celebrations can hurt so much
But remember the joys you shared with them
and you'll feel their gentle touch

May this blue icicle remind you
it's ok to shed a tear
but the love you shared is still in your heart
so your loved one will always be near.

Blue Icicle

It's a blue Christmas
you feel you can't go on
the days are filled with sadness
as your loved one has gone.

But love cannot leave us
it lives on in your soul
a blue icicle reminds you
life's cycle is a whole.

So although you cannot see them
loved ones stay by your side
drying your tears at Christmas
and healing the pain you hide.

An icicle on your Christmas tree
reminds you winter is near
and while the wind is blowing
it's warm and cozy here.
So gather round the fireplace
as the Christmas Carols start
and let the spirit of the season
warm your soul and heart.

warm your soul and heart.

Here is a lavender icicle
I want to share with you
a little bit of pink
and a little bit of blue

Cause being pregnant thru the Holidays
is a special source of joy
as you plan for the birth
of your little girl or boy

So in the midst of the celebrations
of this season all aglow
take the time to ponder in your heart
as Mary did so long ago.

As I look upon this icicle
That sparkles so brilliantly
It reminds me just how much
Your friendship means to me.

It reminds me of the times
You stood right by my side
The times we laughed together
The times that we both cried.

The fears that we've shared
How we grew along the way
How our faith in God together
Gave us strength to face each day.

As I you look upon this icicle
Just know, I think of you each day
And will always thank the Lord
For sending you my way.

Here is a special ornament
For your Holiday Celebration
To remind you of those who endure through this season
Treatments and medications

To remember those who now we miss
They fought their battle well
To honor those who fight it still
And the courage their stories tell

Midst all the Holiday gifts and wishes
Of this we can be sure
Prayers would be answered and lives would be changed
If soon we find...the cure.
